Sometimes it just happens; you click with someone in a very special way. A way that can very much be described as familiarity. It seems as if you met a long, long time ago and not just a few minutes ago. How does this work? How is it possible that we have this feeling?
They happen when our Hearts are Open and Pure
You look into someone’s eyes, start talking and it is as if the whole world around you falls away. As if you and the other person are only there and the familiarity, feelings of safety and all-knowing show up. You talk maybe for a few minutes, an hour and all seems as if it always existed. Heart friends or open heart connections. They happen when our hearts are open and pure. When there is nothing in the way to receive. We vibrate on our own pure energy and attract the people that vibrate on the same frequency. I call it almost a childlike state; a state where you are pure and open to the world. There are no boundaries in what you can do, you are curious, in contact with others and the world around you. Children like this make me smile.
Pureness of a Child
Today on the market I came across a stand where they played some uplifting music. A small child walks into the stand and starts moving up and down. Smiling and totally one with the music. No embarrassment, no thoughts, just be. The parents happily join the small boy and soon enough there are three people moving joyfully. I can’t help but smile as well. Feeling the warm connection with the boy, the joy, the purity in my heart and the others around. This boy was purity and I am back on the same frequency. Walking with a broad smile over the market square.
A child is pure. It connects easily with its environment, it is open to receive, sees the beauty in the little things without any forcing.
Your own Pure Inner Child
As we get older, we learn new things, behavior, knowledge, social skills. We start to analyze, rationalize and we adapt to social values. At some point our Pure Inner Child becomes hidden and almost disappears. Almost, because it is still there. An Inner Child can be seen as a part inside us that holds childlike features and memories from certain feelings, situations or just an overall state of feeling or being. The Inner Part that I am referring to here is an overall state of wellbeing, of joy and open-mindedness. Just go back to a memory of a feeling where the world was still a joyful playground for you. Where you explored the world around you with your hands and everything seemed magical. Go back into your memory and feel this sensation, feel it. This is your Inner Child of Purity, Joy and Magic.
Reconnect with your Pure Inner Child
Reconnecting with your Pure, Joyful Inner Child can help you to open your heart again, vibrating in the uninhibited energy of our pure soul. Enjoying the small things. This inner child is actually a very wise child. It carries the Wisdom to a Joyful Life. What adult doesn’t admire these skills in an ever changing, fast pace life?
So when you feel the sparkle of your open heart, with your pure Inner Child’s wisdom and energy moving through your body, you can find open heart connections. You are vibrating without walls, boundaries, thoughts. You are pure. Just know that there is a time and place for these people to show up in your life. But without an open heart this oppurtunity to connect might pass you by.
Golden Connections
I had a friend once whom called these connections golden. I like this comparison. Gold is a very rare but special metal that comes from outer space. Which makes the material otherworldly. These connections strike me as the same as in these connections time and space seems to disappear. Not only that, heart connections are not as common as other kinds of friendships. I tend to make most of my open heart connections with people in other countries. In Canada, Bonaire, Italy and so on. It doesn’t matter how long I haven’t spoken to these people, how long we were not physically nearby, they are always there!
Being with Open Hearts
With these people I become one. I speak from my heart, I laugh from my heart. It is me they see and whom they know already deep down inside. There are some whom say we met in other lives and now recognize each other, others say that we had to meet to teach each other a lesson or be a support. Either way, I cherish every one of these connections. Breaking these connections is almost impossible, as we were connected by soul and heart. One of my heart connections died last January. It was otherworldly, she was gone from this world. But still I felt her so close. I would have never thought that it could feel in that way, but it did. My soul remembered her, just as hers did mine. We were connected in our hearts and this connection would stay there, even when the lights of this earth would fade.
Reunions with open hearts are amazing, you both laugh about the time that has passed, but also admit that it feels like you have seen them yesterday (even if you didn’t see them for years!).
Time does not exist when around open hearts.
Only our bodies age and make us aware of passing time, the rest is all an illusion.
