Every Ending gives Birth to a New Beginning

Can we feel teardrops when we die? The rain on our face? Goosebumps when music touches our soul?
The line between living and dying is thin. One day you have a body, the other day you do not.
On earth we live in the illusion that everything is permanent. Dying is scary, especially in Western countries. We do not speak about it and we should do everything to avoid death. Holding onto everything that is materialistic, giving us a sense of grip and happiness, both temporary.
But are all these things really making us happy? And what has impermanence to do with all this?

Everything is impermanent

To break your bubble, everything is impermanent. Our phones, houses, cars, the flowers and the trees, our beloved pets, our loved ones, children, family and neighbours. It all ends, breaks down, gets destroyed or recycled; nothing is permanent.

Thus creating fear, because everything will be gone one day. Fear of the unknown, anxiously looking for grip on an impermanent planet. I remember the day I realized that a lot of what was bringing me happiness, were people and things outside of me. Attaching too tightly to people for affection and love. Attaching to the beauty of plants and animals, feeling deep loss and sadness when these were truly disappearing. Fearing I would be alone, with me. It took me many years of hard work to truly feel and see the other side of the coin of loss, of death.

The beauty in an ending, the beauty in death

Almost without noticing we are surrounded by ends and thus death every day. The day ends, the flowers in your vase die, you tear down the bathroom for a prettier one, we eat food that is dead, the rain stops, the sunshine ends, the day dies into the night to give birth to the next day in the morning.
There is an end but we tend to forget, there is also a beginning to every end; there is death and birth in every step you take. Nothing can exist without the other side of the coin; so also no death without birth.

Endings, beginnings and development

For every person dying, a baby is welcomed. For all flowers dead, the soil is provided nutrition to grow a new flower next year, a cycle of the sun ends and we start a new year.
Every end creates a new beginning; every new beginning is a new chance.
With every new breath you create a new moment, a moment wherein everything is possible, only because everything does end as well.
If we were to hold on to the old and there was never an end, we might still be living in the Stone Age. Bodies needed to die, so we could evolve. New thoughts could appear and development could continue.

To understand this even better I invite you to write down or take notion of everything around you that ends and what new beginning it creates in your daily life. For example; when I turn off (end) the music, silence can begin. When one thought ends, a new idea can find its way. It will help you become more aware of the cycle in life.

Who are you?

Our thoughts and emotions pass, our bodies and sensations pass. Your actions will be visible, while your body may fade.
Death shows us that there is space for everything, but also that gratitude for what you have is the biggest gift. As the present moment is all we have.
Remember, there is no creation without distruction; no new beginning without an end. Everything has an end so you can start anew.
One day you will wake up, noticing your body is gone, your car is gone, your expensive tv and clothes. There will be nothing left, only you, your soul. I AM. Born again, where exactly I do not dare to say. Just know it is nature and we do it all the time. It is okay.
Who are you today? Are you able to be with your naked self? Are you okay with your actions? Can you look in the mirror facing yourself and your actions?

Live your best life every day

It is time to go inside and dig into yourself. Take the time to find yourself, your soul and feel.
It is not too late, there is still time. You are here reading this with me. Start creating and end what is not serving you anymore, as a person, as a soul.
Start, create, and live the best life you wish for yourself. As one day, this all will end and everything you own will be gone. That is why everything is an illusion. Nothing really is yours to own.
Weather you accept it or not. We will die, we cannot change nature. Accept and feel peace in all that ends.
We can create, we can cycle. Until your day comes, live the best days you can. As many of us that already had to leave the earthly plane, do not have the chance anymore.
A roof above the head, food, family, nature, pets and people around that care. With your soul pushing you in the direction you need most at this moment. Try to see the challenges as stepping stones to development, to growth.

Julia

Today, 3 years ago my dear friend Julia was murdered. An angels’ spirit, with love surrounding everyone she met. She had dreams, visions, a new chance for a new life.

Life always ends, we can die every moment, death is around every corner, in everything we touch.
She cannot continue her dreams on this earthly plane, but I can, I will. It gives me courage, strenght and gratitude for being alive, for all the chances I get. Every moment is a chance, to be released in a new breath.
I breathe, I create, I touch. Big huge hugs for myself, for others, love, for me, for the world, the rain on my skin, the wind in my hair, petting my fur baby, growing seeds for food and flowers, always in cycle, life and death.

The Dark Moon

The cycle of earth is going through the dark moon phase, just like women menstruating to prepare for the ovulation with a possible new birth. We are cleaning up now, menstruating, cleansing and detoxing. It may be intense. But no mud, gives no flower. We have to go deep, through pain and hurt, to truly find ourselves, to find the gold. The deeper we dig, the more we find. It is the movement of the universe, balancing out everything on our path.
Allow it to happen. Mother earth cleansing her womb, so new seeds can be planted ready to blossom when time comes in Spring.

I course through, I set my intentions and I start building the beginning of my cycle. Today I will create my moodboard for the coming year, knowing that every day will be an end, every moment has an end and also my body and all those around me will end. Without these ends, no new beginnings.
It is life, nothing fearful, it just is.
